Dr. Steven Murray is a chiropractor located in downtown Toronto at Back in Balance clinic with an active living and rehabilitation-based practice. He has a special interest in working with all people of all athletic abilities to reach their fitness and wellness goals. Whether you are a national-level athlete, looking to start your fitness journey, or just wanting to live in less pain, Dr. Steven Murray provides each of his patients with personalized plans of management to address their specific needs and goals enabling patients achieve optimal function and well-being.

Education

Steven completed his undergraduate degree at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. He further completed his Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology at McGill University with a focus on rehabilitation in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and lung mechanics during exercise. Throughout his time at McGill, Steven was a member of the Track and Field team and competed in the 60m, 300m, 600m, 4x200m and 4x400m events with medals in provincial and national level meets. After completing his M.Sc, Steven attended Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree and graduated summa cum laude.

Dr. Murray also uses his research background to integrate the most recent and cutting-edge studies into your plan of management to ensure that you are receiving the best care possible.

Treatments that are offered include adjustments of the spine and extremities, soft tissue therapy, running analysis, ergonomic assessment, pre-and post-surgical rehabilitation, taping, laser therapy, shockwave therapy and nutritional advise.
